My name is Makena, and I've been taking pictures all of my life. Ever since I was young, I've always viewed the world in a unique way. It has been a passion of mine to see as much of the world as I can, and take my camera along the way! 

For my art, I like to find beautiful places from around the globe, to my own backyard in Michigan. Looking for interesting structures, landscapes, and people. Drawing inspiration in light and shadows, colors, and nature. As an artist, I am interested in creating works that give the audience that urge to explore wherever, and whenever they can.
